Organic Minimalist Living lives within me, both personally and professionally. I came up with this term and style because I was never really sure how to explain "my style" to friends, family, and eventually design clients. When this studio began, I thought I would design in all styles, and as things picked up, I found myself constantly leading my designs back to a few very distinct combinations of muted colors, curated details, and endless texture.
Today, organic minimalist living embraces simplicity, functionality, and a connection to nature. It focuses on clean lines, neutral palettes, natural materials like wood and stone, and a clutter-free environment. Spaces are designed to be calming, inviting, and free of unnecessary ornamentation, promoting a sense of tranquility and harmony with the surrounds.
Hi there! My name is Missy and I am the lead designer and founder of Studio M Design Co. I have always had a passion for design and pursued my education in Interior Design from The Fashion Institue of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles, CA. After graduating, I gained experience working alongside firms in Southern California before starting my own business.
At Studio M Design Co., we believe that great design should be accessible to everyone. We strive to create spaces that are not only aesthetically pleasing, but also functional, and comfortable. We work closely with our clients to understand their needs + preferences and use our expertise to bring their vision to life.
